Scenic trails for all skill levels

family hiking in the mountains

From our 1,400-acre estate to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain forests surrounding High Hampton, opportunities to hike on scenic, well-marked trails abound for all skill levels.  All of the 15+ miles of trails offer stunning views of mountains and valleys, each with their own breathtaking perspective and natural beauties.

Located at High Hampton, Rock Mountain and Chimney Top Mountain offer moderate climbs to the top that are rewarded with breathtaking vistas overlooking the High Hampton estate.

High Hampton Resort’s Lake Trail is a flat loop around Hampton Lake, and our Fitness Trail lets you work your way around several exercise stations located at the base of Rock Mountain.

Whiteside Mountain is a relatively easy two-mile hike along a rock face with fabulous views of Cashiers Valley below.

Yellow Mountain Trail is a 11.9 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located between Cashiers and Highlands that features beautiful wild flowers. Plunging dips and gritty climbs to reach its summit at 5,127 feet earn Yellow Mountain Trail a rating of difficult.
